Lafayette- A memorial service will be held Saturday, November 25, 2006 at 10:30 am at the Living Word Church in Sylacauga, Alabama for Vivian Sumners Porter, 61. Vivian was born in Key West, Florida on November 30, 1944 and went to be with the Lord at her residence in Lafayette, Louisiana on Friday, November 10, 2006 at 8:40pm She is survived by two sons, Dennis Porter of Lafayette, LA, and Greg Porter and his wife Gwen, also of Lafayette, LA; two grandchildren, Kyleen Porter and Caroline Porter, both of Lafayette; two brothers, Larry Sumners and Dane Sumners, both of Sylacauga, Alabama; and a step grandchild, Tori Verret of Lafayette. She is preceded in death by her father Sidney J. Sumners, and her mother Olga E. Moreno Sumners.
