Lafayette - Funeral Services will be held at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Broussard on Friday December 8, 2006 at 4:00PM for Lillie Mae Granger, the former Lillie Mae Bell, 84.The Rev. Louis Richard will conduct the funeral service with burial to follow at Sacred Heart Church Cemetery in Broussard. The family requests that visitation be observed Friday December 8, 2006 from 1:30PM til time of service at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Broussard. Ms. Granger was born in Broussard, Louisiana on November 28, 1922 and went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, December 5, 2006 at 7:30PM at Our Lady of Lourdes Regional Medical Center in Lafayette. She was an active member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church here in Broussard, and was a devoted member of the Ladies Alter Society at her church. Lillie was survived by four daughters, Rose Marie Benoit and her husband Larry of Carencro, LA, Deanna Granger of Broussard, LA, Mary Jane Granger of Erath, LA, and Anna Viator and her husband Roger of Maurice, LA; one son, James W. Granger and his wife Helen of Broussard, LA; her sisters, Sister Ann Linda Bell, Sister Viola Romaine Bell, Sister Mary Jane Bell, all of San Antonio, TX, and Noelee Bell Boudreaux of Lake Charles, LA. She is also survived by 9 grand-children, 3 greatgrandchildren, and family friend Liz Curnutt. She is preceded in death by her husband, Eric Joseph Red Granger, her father, Paul Bell and her mother, Carmelite Richard Bell, a son, Robert Lee Bobby Granger, a granddaughter, Debra Granger, a sister Cecile F. Bell, and a brother, Leo Paul Bell. Serving as pallbearers will be James Granger, Doug Granger, Scotty Granger, Greg Granger, Eric Benoit, and Hank Viator. Serving as honorary pallbearers will be Stewart Granger, Roger Viator, Larry Benoit, and Michael Viator. Special thanks to Dr. Brian Granger and staff, Dr. Susan Sabatier and E.R. at Our Lady of Lourdes Regional Medical Center, staff on 5th floor, and Hospice of Acadiana. In lieu of flowers donate to Hospice of Acadiana in memory of Lillie Mae Granger. Donations can also be made to Sister of Divine Providence at Our Lady of the Lake Covent. 515 S.
