Lydia - Funeral Services will be conducted for Christopher A. Digum Jolet, Age 45, at 11:00AM Wednesday November 22, 2006 at St. Nicholas Catholic Church with Father Charles Langlois officiating. Interment will be in Holy Family Cemetery. A Rosary will be prayed at 10:00AM. Visitation will be at St. Nicholas Catholic Church in Lydia from 9:00AM till time of service. A resident of Lydia most of his life he died Monday at 1:10PM at Riverwest Medical Center in Plaquemine, La. Digum was a collector of baseball memorabilia and he was an Eagle Scout. He enjoyed being with his nieces and nephews. Survivors include his father John Jolet of Bayou Vista, two brothers, Steven Jolet and wife Carrie and David Jolet all of New Iberia; one sister, Shannon Jolet and husband Donnie Lee of Lydia; three aunts, Kathy Jolet of New Iberia, Judith Tabb and Marilyn Crochet both of Lydia and his paternal grandmother, Eunice Jolet of Lydia. He was preceded in death by his mother, Gail Darcey Jolet; his paternal grandfather Emmett Jolet and his maternal grandparents, Valarie Darcey Morris and Whitney Darcey. Pallbearers will be David Jolet, Steven Jolet, Jeff Jolet, Ken Bodin, Donnie Lee and John Jolet. Honorary pallbearers will be Ryan and Noah Jolet. David Funeral Home of New Iberia is in charge of arrangements.
