Lafayette- Funeral services will be held Thursday, November 2, 2006 at 2 pm at David Funeral Home Chapel in Lafayette for Christopher Chris Leger, 21. The family requests that visitation be observed Wednesday, November 1, 2006 from 4:30 pm till 10 pm and continue Thursday from 8 am till time of service. The Rev. Daughty and Pastor Carl will conduct the funeral service with burial to follow at Lafayette Memorial Park Cemetery in Lafayette.

Chris was born in Lafayette on October 9, 1985 in Lafayette and went to be with the Lord at his residence in Broussard on Saturday, October 28, 2006.

He is survived by his father Raymond Leger, Jr. and his wife Marichu of Broussard, LA; his mother, Patricia Marie Hawthorne and her fiance Robert Zemojtel, of Crowley; Paternal grandmother Uella Leger of Lafayette, LA; his maternal grandfather, Patrick Hawthorne of Arnaudville, LA; a step brother Zachary Paul Westbrook of Denham Springs, LA; three uncles Rogers Leger and his wife Janet of Judice, LA, Jimmy Hawthorne of Birmingham, AL and a special friend, Mary of Texas, John Tujague and his wife Rose of Lafayette, LA; his aunt, Mary Jane Hawthorne of Arnaudville, LA,

He is preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Raymond Leger, Sr., his maternal grandmother Doris Gregory Hawthorne and his aunt, Patsy Lancaster.
