Eldine "Miss Ellie" Labit Latiolais

New Iberia- A Mass of Christian Burial will be conducted for Eldine Miss Ellie Labit Latiolais, Age 79, at 2:00PM Tuesday March 13, 2007 at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church with Father Mark Derise officiating. Interment will be in Holy Family Mausoleum. Visitation will be Monday March 12, 2007 from 4:00PM till 10:00PM and again Tuesday from 8:00AM till time of service. A Rosary will be prayed Monday at 6:30PM. She died Sunday March 11, 2007 at 6:15PM at her residence. Miss Ellie was a native and lifelong resident of New Iberia. She worked as a sales clerk for Wal-Mart for 26 years. She was a member of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church. The family request that in Lieu of flowers donations can be made to Hospice of Acadiana. Survivors include two daughters; Sandra L. Hebert and husband Randy of New Iberia and Toni L. Godeaux and husband Michael of Eunice, La., an adopted daughter; Roxanne Hebert of New Iberia, two brothers and two sisters; Sexton Labit and wife Jeanette of Coteau, La., Eddie Labit, Jr. of New Iberia, Loyce L. Barrilleaux of San Antonio, Texas and Luce Nell L. Davis and husband Gerald of Houston, Texas, three grandsons; D.J. Hebert of New Iberia, William Godeaux of Eunice and Rene Freyou of Loreauville, one great grandson; Bailey Freyou of Lafayette and her loving pet dog; Sandy. She was preceded in death by her parents; Eddie Labit, Sr. and Elenie Waguespack Labit, one son; William James Freyou, one brother; Autry Labit, sister-in-law; Cecile Labit, brother-in-law; Donald Barrilleaux, nephew; Brian Labit, Sr. and great nephew; Brian Labit, Jr. Pallbearers will be D.J. Hebert, William Godeaux, Rene Freyou, Vic Delcambre, David Hebert and Joshua Hebert. Danny Hebert is an honorary pallbearer. David Funeral Home of New Iberia is in charge of arrangements.
