Loving Mother and Grandmother

Jeanerette " A Mass of Christian Burial will be conducted for Dorette Bonin Daigle, 80, on Monday, November 27, 2006 at 11:00 AM in the David Funeral Home Chapel with Father Ed Degeyter officiating. Interment will follow in the St. John Cemetery.

A native and resident of Jeanerette, Ms. Daigle died on Friday, November 24, 2006 at 9:50 AM in a New Iberia hospital. She enjoyed crocheting, knitting, embroidering and cooking.

Visitation will begin on Monday, November 27, 2006 at 8:00 AM until the time of services and a rosary will be prayed at 10:00 AM in the funeral home.

She is survived by her sons, Ira Raymond Daigle, Jr. and his wife Carolyn Totsy of New Iberia and Louis Paul Daigle of Lafayette; her daughter, Lana Daigle Rentz and her husband Kline of Jeanerette; her sister, LouElla Hebert of Jeanerette;her grandsons, Brent Daigle of Jeanerette, Clint Daigle of Rayne and Sean McGee of New Iberia; her granddaughters, Kristi Cagnina, Torey Musso, Amy McGee, Monique Dumond, Cinnamon Beaugh all of New Iberia, Lindsy Segura of Coteau and a step-granddaughter, Wendy Caviston of Sun. She was also survived by 17 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her father, Eraste Bonin; her mother, Alida Bonin Bonin and her half-brothers, Chester Bonin and Whitney Pharr.

Pallbearers will be Sean McGee, Clint Daigle, Brent Daigle, Kline Rentz, Phillip Cagnina and Damian Beaugh.

Honorary pallbearers will be Coby Segura, Andrew Dumond, Matthew Musso and Steven Dilday.

David Funeral Home of Jeanerette is in charge of arrangements.
