New Iberia"Funeral services for Jimmy James Bubba Estelle, Jr., 18, of New Iberia will be held on Wednesday, November 29, 2006 at 2:00 P.M. in David Funeral Home Chapel. Deacon Jimmy Wilson will officiate. Interment will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 28, 2006 from 12:00 P.M. until 10:00 P.M. in David Funeral Home, with a rosary to be recited at 7:00 P.M. Visitation will continue on Wednesday from 8:00 A.M. until services.

Jimmy passed away on Sunday, November 26, 2006 at 12:40 A.M. in a Lafayette hospital.

A native and lifelong resident of New Iberia, Jimmy was in his senior year at New Iberia Senior High School. He enjoyed sports, and spent time on soccer and baseball teams. He also loved fishing, four-wheel riding, and go-cart riding. Jimmy was very fond of all his nieces and nephews and he loved them very much.

Survivors include his parents, Jimmy James Estelle, Sr and Lisa Sadie Hebert Estelle of New Iberia; sisters, Linda Faye Hebert, Shantelle Marie Estelle and her boyfriend, Toby Landry, and April Marie Estelle and fianc, Jiles Comeaux all of New Iberia; paternal grandmother, Ola Estelle of New Iberia; maternal grandfather, Robert Lee Hebert of Cade; maternal great-grandfather, Norris Hebert of Lafayette; nephew and Godchild, Jaiden Cade Kidwell of New Iberia; loving and handsome nephew, Gaige Tancie Comeaux of New Iberia; loving and beautiful niece and Godchild, Zoey Evelyn Comeaux of New Iberia; loving and beautiful niece, Megan Sonnier of New Iberia; very special great aunt, Linda Faye Racca and husband, Ronald of Scott; Godmother, Angel Sonnier and husband Richard of New Iberia; Godfather, Tommy Estelle and wife, Phyllis of New Iberia; and special friend, Rochelle Romero of New Iberia. Jimmy is also survived by numerous other aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives, and friends.

Preceding Jimmy in death are his maternal grandmother, Evelyn Hebert; maternal great-grandparents, Clifton and Honorine Trahan; paternal grandfather, Thomas Estelle; paternal great-grandmother, Annabelle Derouen and uncle, David Estelle.

Pallbearers will be Jiles Comeaux, Richard Sonnier, Linn Briscoe, Tommy Estelle, Dickie Estelle Sr. and Ricky Estelle.

Honorary pallbearers will be Dennis Alleman, Jeremy Trahan and Jimmy Estelle Sr.

The family has asked that memorial donations be made to Jimmys parents in order to offset costs associated with final expenses.
