Abbeville " A Mass of Christian Burial will be held for Mrs. Ogden Thibodeaux, 76, the former Lena Dugas on Monday, January 8, 2007 at 1:30 PM at St. Theresa Catholic Church with Fr. Kenneth Mayne officiating. Burial will follow in St. Paul Mausoleum. Visitation will begin on Sunday, January 7, 2007 at 11:00 AM until 10:00 PM and resume on Monday, January 8, 2007 at 8:00 AM until services. A rosary will be prayed in the funeral home on Sunday at 7:00 PM. A homemaker and resident of Abbeville, she was entrusted to Gods loving care at 2:45 PM on Friday, January 5, 2007 at Maison du Monde Living Center. She was a native of Henry, LA and died at the age of 76. She is survived by her loving and caring husband of 58 years, Ogden TB Thibodeaux and two daughters, Gwen and son-in-law Steve Vincent of Erath, and Vanessa T. Abshire of Erath. She was also survived by her grandchildren, Steven B. Vincent and his wife Jill of Garland, TX, Laurie V. Touchet and her husband Shawn of Houston, TX, Amy V. Nunez and her husband Mark of Erath and Paul Jacob Abshire of Erath; five great grandchildren, Brooke and Emma Vincent, Jillian and Ian Touchet, Addison Nunez and one sister, Louise Passmore of Vinton, LA. She was preceded in death by her parents, Ignace and Olita Landry Dugas, one brother, Preston Dugas and one sister, Agnes Baudoin and a son-in-law, Brent Abshire. The family would like to thank the staff at Maison du Monde, St. Theresa Hospice and our personal care givers Hester Smith and Clara Alexis for their loving care and support.
