Lafayette- Funeral services will be held Thursday, November 30, 2006 at 10 AM at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Broussard for Lucille Ann Chinney Anselm Malagarie, 80. The Rev. Louis Richard will conduct the funeral service assisted by Deacon Joe Trahan. Burial will follow at Sacred Heart Church Cemetery. The family requests that visitation be observed Wednesday, November 29, 2006 from 2pm till 9pm and continue Thursday from 8am till time of service. A rosary will be prayed Wednesday evening at 7pm. Chinney was born in Lafayette on June 16, 1926 and went to be with the Lord on Monday, November 27, 2006 at Southpark Community Hospital in Lafayette. She was a devoted member of the Ladies Altar Society of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Broussard. She is survived by her husband Blaise D. Malagarie of Broussard, LA; her children, Della Murray Breaux and her husband Jesse of Eunice; Thomas E. Malagarie and his wife Marilyn of Orange, TX, Lionel V. Malagarie of Carencro, Elizabeth M. LeBlanc and her husband Jody of Breaux Bridge; her grandchildren, Stacy M. Malagarie, Ryan Malagarie and his wife Jill, Keil M. Murray and his wife Christa, Nicholas B. Malagarie and his wife Amanda, Ian M. LeBlanc , Elliott M. LeBlanc, Scottie Wilson and his wife Laurie, Danielle Dede Veazey and her husband Cliff; great grandchildren, Dylan and Kodi Hardin, Garrett Hammond, Taylor C. Murray, Gabrielle Malagarie , Kayleigh Lute, Bode and Ty Wilson, Breanna Veazey and Brittany Faul; and one sister in law Virgie G. Anslem. She is preceded in death by her father, Lee Anselm and her mother Elise Bourque Anselm, two brothers, Allen J. Anslem, and Warren J. Anselm, and a sister in law Mardry M. Anselm. Serving as pallbearers will be Keil M. Murray, Ian LeBlanc, Elliott LeBlanc, Nicholas Malagarie, Ryan Malagarie, Scottie Wilson. Serving as honorary pallbearer will be Taylor Murray.
