Erath " A Mass of Christian Burial for Adam James Derouen, 21, will be held at 10:00AM on Friday, July 24, 2009 at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church with Fr. Paul Broussard officiating. Visitation will be at David Funeral Home of Erath on Thursday, July 23, 2009 from 10:00AM until 10:00PM with a recitation of the rosary at 7:00PM. Visitation will resume on Friday, July 24, 2009 from 8:00AM until the time of the services. Interment will follow at Our Lady of Lourdes Cemetery.
Adam a native of Erath and a resident of Lafayette died at 11:55PM on Tuesday, July 21, 2009 in Lafayette. He was a 2006 Graduate of Erath High School and Louisiana Technical College Teche Area Campus. Adam was known for his love of skate boarding, BMX Biking, the outdoors, and music. He was employed with Slemco.
He is survived by his parents, Tony L. and Laura Desormeaux Derouen of Erath; two sisters, Amy and her husband Christopher Hargrave of Erath, and Jessica and her husband Drew Suire of Abbeville; his paternal grandmother, Annabelle Derouen of Erath; two nephews, Aiden and Gabriel Hargrave of Erath; and two nieces, Randi and Camille Suire of Abbeville.
Serving as pallbearers will be members of the family and friends.
