New Iberia " Funeral Services will be conducted for Mr. Frank Michael Legnon, Age 65 at 2:00 PM Saturday December 2, 2006 in the David Funeral Home Chapel, with the Rev. Mark McDonald, rector of the Episcopal Church of the Epiphany officiating. Interment will follow in Beau Pre Memorial Park Cemetery. Visiting hours will be observed Saturday December 2, 2006 from 9:00 AM until time of services. Mr. Legnon died Wednesday November 29, 2006 in Rocksprings, Texas. He was a native of and resident of New Iberia. He was Marketing Manager for Duphil, Inc. of Orange, Texas. He was an avid hunter and golfer and enjoyed watching football and hockey. He was a former member of the Louisiana National Guard. He is survived by his wife Kathleen Sumrall Legnon of New Iberia, sons David S. Legnon of Denver, Colorado and Frank S. Legnon and his wife Stephanie of New Iberia, daughters Joni Renard and her husband Nathan, Jami Legnon, and Jena Meaux, all of New Iberia, step daughters Jennifer Wright of New Iberia and Kecia Fones and her husband Billy of Wausau, Virginia, a brother Kenny Legnon and his wife Laurie of Lafayette and his father Wilson George Legnon of Jeanerette. Also surviving are 6 grandchildren and 1 step grandchild. He was preceded in death by his mother Lois Ann Sanders Legnon Serving as pallbearers will be Kenny Legnon, David Legnon, Gerald Sumrall, Steve Sumrall, Dr. Kennell Brown and Andre Patout. David Funeral Home of New Iberia is in charge of funeral arrangements.
