Theresa Hulin Thompson

August 10, 1933 — January 31, 2006

New Iberia " Funeral services for Mrs. Theresa Hulin Thompson, 72, will be held on Friday, February 3, 2006 at 10:00AM at St. Peters Catholic Church with Fr. Keith Derouen officiating. Interment will follow at St. Peters Cemetery. A native of Indian Bayou, LA and a resident of New Iberia, Mrs. Thompson died Wednesday, January 31, 2006 at 10:30PM at Iberia Medical Center. Visitation will begin on Thursday at David Funeral Home of New Iberia from 4:00PM till 9:00PM with a rosary at 7:00PM, then resume on Friday from 8:00AM till the time of services. Mrs. Thompson is a loving mother and grandmother. She was an active member of several organizations such as Senior Catholic Daughters, American Business Women Association, VFW Ladies Auxiliary, AARP, and Senior Friends. She also gave of her self as a High School CCD, and as a Junior Catholic Daughters Councilor. Mrs. Thompson retired from Trappeys Fine Foods after being employed there for over 31 years. She was also employ at Himels Motor Supply. She is survived by a son, Daniel Thompson, a daughter, Cecile Ellender and her husband Cliff Ellender, a grandson, Skip Ellender and his wife Maria Ellender, and a granddaughter, Meredith Ellender all of New Iberia. She is preceded in death by her parents, Deynoodt J. Hulin and Emily Derouen Hulin, and a brother Everette Hulin. Pallbearers will be, Ceasar Comeaux, Scott Boudreaux, family, and friends. Honorary Pallbearer will be Danny Begnaud. David Funeral Home of New Iberia is handling arrangements
