LOVING FATHER AND GRANDFATHER New Iberia"A funeral service honoring the life of Felton Joseph T.B. Bell, 78, of New Iberia will be held on Thursday, December 14, 2006 at 2:00 P.M. in David Funeral Home Chapel. The Reverend David Denton will officiate. Entombment will follow in Holy Family Mausoleum. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 13, 2006 from 4:00 P.M. until 10:00 P.M. in David Funeral Home, with a rosary to be recited at 7:00 P.M. Visitation will continue on Thursday from 8:00 A.M. until service time in the funeral home. Mr. Bell passed away on Tuesday, December 12, 2006 at 9:00 P.M. in his residence. A native of Jefferson Island and lifelong resident of Iberia Parish, Mr. Bell retired from Boats and Motors, Inc. after many years as a mechanic and commercial fisherman. He was a member of Bethel First Assembly of God and of Highland Baptist Church. Mr. Bell was a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II. He enjoyed fishing and hunting, but his greatest joy was spending time with his grandchildren, who he loved very much. Survivors include his sons, Wayne Bell and wife, Crystal of Delcambre and David Bell and fiance, Deidra Richard of Lafayette; grandchildren, Meagan Bell of Lafayette, Morgan Bell of Lafayette, Kenny Paul Bell of Delcambre, and Olivia Mae Bell of Lafayette; and nephews, Ronnie Mallet and wife, Betty of New Iberia and Lonnie Bell of Galliano. Preceding Mr. Bell in death are his wife, Ida Sonnier Bell; son, Kenneth James Bell; parents, Eddie and Edith Broussard Bell; sister, Shirley LeBlanc; and brother, D.O. Bell. Serving as pallbearers are members of Mr. Bells family. David Funeral Home of New Iberia is in charge of arrangements.
