LOVING MOTHER AND GRANDMOTHER Loreauville " Funeral Services will be conducted for Mrs. Jerry LaGrange, Sr., the former Helen Parrie, 65 at 2:00 PM Monday March 26, 2007 at St. Josephs Catholic Church with Father Paul Onegube officiating. Interment will follow in St. Josephs Cemetery. A rosary will be prayed Sunday March 25, 2007 at 7:00 PM Visiting hours will be observed Sunday March 25, 2007 from 3:00 PM to 10:00 PM and will resume Monday March 26, 2007 from 8:00 AM until time of services. Mrs. LaGrange died Friday March 23, 2007 at 4:20 AM at her residence in Loreauville. Mrs. LaGrange was a native of Zwolle and a resident of Loreauville for the past 46 years. She taught religion and was the religion coordinator for St. Josephs Church for many years. She enjoyed playing cards, crossword puzzles, watching sports and spending time with her family. She is survived by her children, Jerry LaGrange, Jr. and his wife Lori of Chester, South Carolina, Peter LaGrange of Loreauville, Hope L. Durand and her husband Charles of St. Martinville and Pam L. Champagne and her husband Rodney of New Iberia, her grandchildren, Chelsea LaGrange, Lauren and Conner Durand and Hunter Champagne, and a great grandchild, Abby Gaspard, her sisters, Dorothy Boudreaux of Loreauville and Wanda Martinez of Zwolle, and a brother Jack Parrie of Zwolle. She was preceded in death by her husband Jerry LaGrange, Sr., her parents Rupert Parrie and Louise Remedies Parrie and a sister Mary Sue Touchet. Serving as pallbearers will be Jerry LaGrange, Jr., Peter LaGrange, Barry LaGrange, Brad Boudreaux, Rodney Champagne and Charles Durand. David Funeral Home of Loreauville is in charge of funeral arrangements.
