Coteau-Funeral services for Craig Anthony Dore, 48, of Coteau will be held on Friday, January 27, 2006 at 10:00 A.M. at Our Lady of Prompt Succor Catholic Church, Coteau, LA, with interment to follow in the church mausoleum. Father Ed Degeyter will officiate. Visitation will be held at David Funeral Home in New Iberia on Thursday, January 26, 2006 from 4:00 P.M. until 10:00 P.M., with a rosary to be recited at 7:00 P.M. Visitation will continue on Friday from 8:00 A.M. until service time in the funeral home. Mr. Dore passed away at 3:57 A.M. on Monday, January 23, 2006 in a Las Vegas, NV hospital. A native of New Iberia, Craig was a service manager with Acme Trucking Company. He actively participated with his children in the 4-H Livestock Program for the past 13 years. He was a girls softball coach for the Coteau IYBA and was a member of The Cattlemans Association. Craig enjoyed hunting, fishing, and camping with his family, and he was a great cook. Mr. Dores survivors include his wife, Jennifer Derouen Dore of Coteau; two daughters, Heather Nicole Dore and Erica Renee Dore of Coteau; brothers, Wayne Dore and wife, Ruby of Coteau, Donald Dore and wife, Gail of Alvin, TX, Mark Dore and wife, Susan of New Iberia, and Kevin Dore and wife Lynette of Lafayette; sister, Lisa D. Trahan and husband, Marty of New Iberia; father-in-law, T.J. Derouen of New Iberia, and mother-in-law, Hilda Robicheaux Derouen of New Iberia. He is preceded in death by his parents, Herman and Lucy Broussard Dore. Serving as pallbearers will be Wayne Dore, Mark Dore, Kevin Dore, Donald Dore, Marty Trahan, and Danny Fitch. Steven Derouen will serve as honorary pallbearer. David Funeral Home of New Iberia is in charge of arrangements.
