Loving Husband, Father, and Grandfather Jeanerette " Funeral Services will be conducted for Mr. Leslie Frentz, Jr. Age 74 at 2:00 PM Wednesday Januaray 17, 2007 in the David Funeral Home Chapel with Father Ed Degeyter officiating. Interment will follow in Beau Pre Mausoleum in Jeanerette. Visiting hours will be observed Wednesday January 17, 2007 from 9:00 AM until time of services. Mr. Frentz died Monday January 15, 2007 at 8:07 PM in an Alexandria Hospital. Mr. Frentz was a native of Berwick and a resident of Jeanerette. He was a retired ship building supervisor for Gulf Craft Inc.. He loved to hunt and fish and was a very friendly and quiet person. He served in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean Conflict. He is survived by his wife Carol Dow Frentz of Jeanerette, his sons, Wess Frentz, Sr and his wife Myra of Church Point and Wade Frentz of Patterson, a granddaughter Annie Frentz of Church Point and a grandson Wess Frentz, Jr. of Church Point and a brother Gary Frenze of Patterson. He was preceded in death by his parents Leslie Frentz, Sr. and Evyonne Fabre Frentz. Serving as pallbearers will be Wess Frentz, Sr. Wade Frentz, Wess Frentz, Jr., Kervin Zimmerman, Grant Zimmerman and Ron Bacon. David Funeral Home of Jeanerette is in charge of funeral arrangements.
