DEVOTED AUNT

Jeanerette"A Mass of Christian Burial for Mrs. Roy Hebert, the former Lou Ella Bonin, 89, of Jeanerette will be celebrated on Friday, January 19, 2007 at 2:00 P.M. in St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church. The Reverend Ed Degeyter will serve as celebrant. Interment will follow in St. John the Evangelist Catholic Cemetery.

Visitation will be held on Friday, January 19, 2007 from 9:00 A.M. until service time in David Funeral Home. A rosary will be recited on Friday at 11:00 A.M. in the funeral home.

Mrs. Hebert passed away on Wednesday, January 17, 2007 at 12:00 A.M. in a Jeanerette care facility.

A native of Patoutville and longtime resident of Jeanerette, Mrs. Hebert had worked at Barlyns for many years. She was an avid baseball fan and enjoyed working in her yard. Mrs. Hebert was devoted to her nieces and nephews, whom she loved to care for.

Survivors include nephews, Ira Daigle, Jr. and wife, Carolyn"Totsy"of New Iberia, Louis Daigle of Broussard,grand nephews Brent Daigle of Jeanerette, Clint Daigle of Rayne, and Sean McGee of Jeanerette; nieces, Lana Rentz and husband Kline of Jeanerette, grand nieces Kristi Cagnina of New Iberia, Torey Musso of New Iberia, Lindsy Segura of Youngsville, Amy McGee of New Iberia, Monique Dumond of New Iberia, and Cinnamon Beaugh of New Iberia; step-children, Loretta Spellmeyer of Missouri, J.E. Hebert of Lake Charles,step-grand daughtersMary Francis Wiseman of Missouri and Cindy Dinnison of Lake Charles, LA and step-grandson Jeffery Spellmeyer of Missouri.

Preceding Mrs. Hebert in death are her husband, Roy Hebert; husband, Noland Price; parents, Eraste and Alida Bonin; sister, Dorette Bonin Daigle; and half-brothers Chester Bonin and Whitney Pharr.

Serving as pallbearers are Ira Daigle, Jr., Louis Daigle, Kline Rentz, Sean McGee, Brent Daigle, and Clint Daigle.

David Funeral Home of Jeanerette is in charge of arrangements.
