New Iberia- Funeral Services for Mrs. Wilbert (Glenda Mae Chub Gaspard ) Migues of Lydia will be held at 1:00P.M. on Wednesday, January 18, 2006 in the David Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in Migues Cemetery, Delcambre, LA. Deacon John Sarkies will officiate. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 17, 2006 from 5:00P.M. until 10:00PM in David Funeral Home, with a rosary to be held at 6:30P.M. Visitation will continue on Wednesday, January 18, 2006 from 8:00A.M. until service time. Mrs. Migues passed away at 4:00P.M. on Monday, January 16, 2006 in her residence. A native of Forked Island, LA, Mrs. Migues was a longtime resident of Lydia. She was a member of the Catholic faith. She enjoyed playing bingo, going to the casino, and playing cards. Mrs. Migues spent most of her time caring for her family and spending time with her family and friends. Survivors include her sons, Kevin Migues, Sr. and wife Brenda of Lydia; Eddie Migues of Lydia; Davis Migues and wife, Gillian of Abbeville; David Migues and wife, Shelia of Lydia; Daniel Migues and wife, Dawn of Lydia; Eric Migues of Lydia; and Gilbert Migues and wife, Carol of New Iberia; daughters, Shelia Boudreaux of New Iberia; Sable Hebert and husband, Wade of Lydia; and Beverly Viator and husband, Russell of Jeanerette. She is also survived by her brothers, Doyes Gaspard and wife, Julie of Forked Island; Harris Gaspard of Cow Island; Tanny Gaspard and wife, Lilly of Mamou; and T-Neg Gaspard and wife, Sandy of New Iberia; and sister, Glenda Rae T-Tit Delahoussaye and husband, Ronnie of Lydia. Mrs. Migues is survived by 13 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. Her husband, Wilbert Migues; a son, Brent Migues; her parents, Edward and Sylvia Gaspard; and one granddaughter precede Mrs. Migues in death. Serving as pallbearers will be Kevin Migues, Sr., Daniel Migues, Davis Migues, David Migues, Eric Migues, and Gilbert Migues. Serving as honorary pallbearers will be Eddie Migues, Zackery Boudreaux, Jaret Migues, Kevin Migues, Jr., and Wesley Migues. David Funeral Home of New Iberia in charge of arrangements.
