Lafayette- Funeral services will be held at Our Lady of Prompt Succor Catholic Church in Coteau, Louisiana at 11 am on Tuesday, January 9, 2007 for Andre Racca, 14. The Rev. Matthew Higginbotham will conduct the funeral service with burial to follow in the church cemetery. The family requests that visitation be observed Monday, January 8, 2007 from 1 pm till 10 pm and continue Tuesday, January 9, 2007 from 8 am till time of service. A rosary will be prayed Monday evening at 7 pm at David Funeral Home in Lafayette. Andre was born on January 25, 1992 and went to be with the Lord on January 3, 2007 in Shreveport, Louisiana. Andre is survived by his father Vince Racca of Olathe, Kansas; two sisters, Ashley Racca and Ariel Racca, both of Olathe, Kansas; his grandmother, Carolyn Lormand Romero of Coteau, LA. He is preceded in death by his mother, Tonia Romero Racca, his grandfather Carlton Joseph Romero.
