New Iberia " Funeral services will bbe conducted for Mrs. Francis A. White, 80, the former Carol Ernest on Saturday, January 20, 2007 at 2:00 PM at the First Presbyterian Church with Rev. Pat Wadsworth officiating. Interment will be on Monday, January 22, 2007 at 2:00 PM in the Galveston Memorial Park Cemetery in Hitchcock, TX.

Visitation was held on Saturday, January 20, 2007 at David Funeral Home in New Iberia from 10:00 AM until services.

A native of Nepoleonville, LA and resident of New Iberia, Mrs. White died on Friday, January 19, 2007 at 3:15 AM in a New Iberia Hospital. She was a member of the Daughter of the Nile Ramallah Temple #89 and the Social Order of Beauceant Baytown Assembly #153 where she held several National Titles.

She is survived by her niece, Kathy E. Burge and her husband Hal and her sister-in-law, Rosemary V. Ernest all of New Iberia and her nephew, George Dave Ernest, III and his wife Donna of Lafayette. She is also survived by her great nephew, Michael Burge and his wife Melanie of Houma; her great nephew, Randy Burge; her great nieces Alaina and Olivia Ernest all of Lafayette and her great great niece, Kaitlyn Burge of Houma.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Francis A. White; her father, George D. Ernest, Sr.; her mother, Leona Tucker Ernest and her brother, George D. Ernest, Jr..

Pallbearers were Harold Hal W. Burge, Randall B. Burge, Michael E. Burge, George Dave D. Ernest, III, Eric Delaune, Red Renfroe and Ronnie Smith.

David Funeral Home of New Iberia is in charge of arrangements.
