Emelia Comeaux

Mrs. Comeaux a native of Youngsville, Louisiana and a resident of Milton, Louisiana died Friday January 19, 2007 at Our Lady of Lourdes Medical Center in Lafayette, Louisiana.

Mrs. Comeaux is survived by two daughters, Willie Mae Menard and her husband Robley of Lafayette, Louisiana and Joanna Hebert and her husband U. L. of Milton, Louisiana; one son Rodney Comeaux and his wife Beverly of Milton, Louisiana; twelve grandchildren, Donna Broussard, Carol Mouton, Ellen Fruge, Daniel Hebert, Sandra Hebert, Gary Hebert, Cindy Hebert, Carla Leger, Kenny Hebert, Charles Comeaux , Shannon Comeaux-Aucoin; and twenty-one great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Comeaux is preceded in death by her husband, Charles Comeaux; her parents Isaie Duhon and Etna Broussard Duhon; two grandchildren, David Todd Hebert and Becky Hebert Wooten; three brothers Gaston Duhon, Victor Duhon and Celestin Duhon; three sisters Rosa Picard, Victoria Mouton and Colastie Primeaux.

Pallbearers will be Daniel Hebert, Gary Hebert, Kenny Hebert, Charles Comeaux, Wesley Hebert and Benton Hebert.

Memorial contributions can be made to Hospice of Acadiana in Mrs. Comeauxs memory.

The family wishes to express their appreciation to the staff of Our Lady of Lourdes and Hospice of Acadiana for the loving care that was given to their loved one.
