New Iberia " Funeral Services for Mrs. Andrew LaSalle the former Helen LeBlanc, 77, will be held at 11:00AM on Saturday, January 21, 2006 at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church with Fr. Mark Derise officiating. Interment will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery. A Native of Iberia Parish and resident of New Iberia, Mrs. LaSalle died Thursday, January 19, 2006 at 6:39AM at Dauterive Hospital. Visitation will begin on Friday at David Funeral Home " New Iberia from 3:00PM till 10:00PM, with a rosary at 7:00PM, then resume on Saturday from 8:00AM until services. Mrs. LaSalle is a loving mother who enjoyed raising birds, working with flowers, and doing stitch work by hand on dresses her sister made. She was a devoted member of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church. She is survived by two sons, Gerald J. LaSalle and his wife, Betty LaSalle of New Iberia, and Dr. Mark W. LaSalle, PhD and his wife, Mary LaSalle of Ocean Springs, MS; five daughters, Patricia M. Robichaux and her husband, Pat Robichaux of New Iberia, Marilyn Castille and her husband, Kenneth Castille, Sr. of Locust Grove, GA, Cynthia A. Hewell and her husband, Gordon Hewell of Lafayette, CO, Holly Cypret and her husband, Jim Cypret of Crestview, FL, and Michelle LaSalle-Landry and her husband, Jason Landry of New Iberia; a sister Rosiebelle Robicheaux of New Iberia, LA, a sister-in-law Anite LeBlanc of New Iberia, a brother-in-law Needless LaSalle and his wife, Irene LaSalle of Erath; a host of nieces and nephews, 30 grandchildren, and 32 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Andrew LaSalle; parents, Hubert Byon LeBlanc and Rosa Desormeaux LeBlanc; two grandsons, Chad M.Robichaux and Kenneth J. Castille, Jr.; three brothers, Claude J., Antoine, and Lloyd J. LeBlanc; three infant sisters, Nola Marie, Lola Cecile, and Claudia Leblanc; and a daughter-in-law, Lynne Horn LaSalle.
