Lafayette - Alexis Renee Howell, 8 month old infant daughter of Ben and Jessica Howell, of Lafayette, passed away Sunday, January 22, 2006. A service remembering Alexis will be at 1:00 PM Wednesday, January 25, 2006, at David Funeral Home, in Lafayette, with Rev. Jeff Cook officiating. Interment will follow in St. Paul Cemetery, in Abbeville. Born on May 23, 2005, in Lafayette, Alexis is also survived by her sister, Gillian Howell of Lafayette; grandparents, Victor and Janet Howell, and Johnny and Patricia Meaux all of Lafayette; great grandparents, Mary and Wink Marsh of Monroe, Vernice Thomas of Lafayette, and Hilda Haver of Indiana. A gathering of family and friends will be Wednesday, from 10:30 AM until time of service. David Funeral Home of Lafayette, is in charge of the arrangements.
