LOVING FATHER, GRANDFATHER, AND UNCLE New Iberia"A Mass of Christian Burial for Robert Bob Chambers, Jr., 82, will be celebrated on Wednesday, January 24, 2007 at 2:00 P.M. in Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church. The Reverend Ruben Primor will serve as celebrant. Interment will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 23, 2007 from 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. in David Funeral Home, with a rosary to be recited at 6:30 P.M. Visitation will continue on Wednesday from 8:00 A.M. until service time in the funeral home. A native of St. Joseph, MO and a longtime resident of New Iberia, Mr. Chambers passed away on Sunday, January 21, 2007 at 11:25 A.M. in a local hospital. Mr. Chambers was employed as an electrical line supervisor with Cleco. Survivors include his daughter, Katherine C. Quereau and husband, Jacques; grandson, Robert F. Quereau; granddaughter, Brianne Rene Quereau; brother, Henry Chambers; sister, Zettie C. Warnock; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and other relatives. Preceding Mr. Chambers in death were his wife, Flavie H. Chambers; son, Robert J. Chambers; parents, Robert and Bertha D. Chambers; sisters, Ida Nora Chambers and Virginia C. Cooper; brother, Issac Chambers; and lifelong friend, Richard Broussard. Serving as pallbearers are Jacques Quereau, Robert F. Quereau, Steve Chambers, Scott Chambers, Don delaHoussaye, and Steven Chambers. Named as honorary pallbearers are Henry Chambers, Wilson "Sue" Badeaux, Kenny Broussard, Robert Suire, Jamie Fanol, and Ronald Bourque. Special acknowledgement to Steve Chambers, Denise D.
