Abbeville - John Wayne Jordan, 54, of Columbus, Ohio, passed at 10:40 PM on February 5, 2006, in Columbus, Ohio. A service remembering John will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday, February 11, 2006, at David Funeral Home, in Abbeville, with Seminarian Brady LeBlanc officiating. Interment will follow in Graceland Cemetery. Born on November 29, 1951, in Hattiesburg, MS., John resided in Columbus, Ohio and worked for the Ohio Auto Auction. Survivors include his sisters, Dorothy Frances Jordan Deal and husband James of Beckley, West Virginia, Virginia Ann Jordan White of Cumming, Georgia, Mary Fern Jordan Martin and husband John of Gulfport, MS, Johnnie Mae Jordan Hardy and husband Edward M of Abbeville, Shirley Jean Jordan Harrington and husband James D. of Gonzales, LA, half sister, Victoria Lynn Primeaux of Abbeville; half brothers, J.B. Primeaux of Lake Charles, J.C. Primeaux and wife Debbie of Maurice, Paul Wesley Primeaux of Morgan City; step brothers, Lercy Primeaux and wife Rena of Vinton, Percy Primeaux and wife Jo of Kaplan; 11 nieces, 18 nephews, 14 great nieces, and 24 great nephews. He was preceded in death by his mother, Dorothy Mae Howard; father, John Lee Jordan; his maternal grandmother, Mari Etta Foster Howard Joplin; nephew, James Dale Harrington, Jr.; niece, Cindy Ann Harrington; half sister-in-law, Janie Primeaux; and step father, Victor Primeaux. A gathering of family and friends will be Friday, from 4:30 PM until 9:00 PM at David Funeral Home, in Abbeville. A rosary will be prayed at 7:00 PM Friday. Visitation will continue Saturday, from 8:00 AM until time of service. David Funeral Home of Abbeville is in charge of the arrangements.
