Lafayette - Toby John Beaugh, 29, of New Orleans, died Saturday, February 25, 2006, in New Orleans. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 1:30 PM Thursday, March 2, 2006, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, in Broussard, with Rev. Louis Richard as the Celebrant. Entombment will follow in the church mausoleum. Born on June 9, 1976, in Lafayette, Toby was a graduate of St. Cecilia, St. Thomas More in 1994, and received a Bachelors Degree in Psychology from the University of Louisiana Lafayette. He was currently pursuing an accounting degree at the University of New Orleans. Survivors include his wife Melissa Vanderbrook Beaugh of New Orleans; parents, Terry and Cindy LeBlanc Beaugh of Broussard; sister, Claire Beaugh of Hattiesburg, MS; grandparents, Clara and Newton LeBlanc of Broussard, John Ray Beaugh of Lafayette; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Tammy and Stephen Vanderbrook, Sr.; brother-in-laws, Stephen Vanderbrook, Jr. and Sean Vanderbrook. Toby was preceded in death by his grandmother, Drucella Camel Beaugh. Honored to serve as pallbearers are Stephen Vanderbrook, Sean Vanderbrook, William Phillips, Britton Mouton, Kane Heinen, Matt Durio, Justin Moore, and Adam Moore. A gathering of family and friends will be Wednesday, from 5:00 until 9:00 PM at David Funeral Home in Lafayette. A scriptural wake service will be at 7:30 PM Wednesday. Visitation will continue Thursday from 8:00 AM until time of service. On Saturday, March 4, at 1:00 PM there will be a Memorial service celebrating Toby's life at St. Angela Merici Church at 835 Melody Dr. in Metairie. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in Toby's name to St. Cecilia School, 302 W. Main St., Broussard, LA 70518 and St. Thomas More High, 450 E. Farrell, Lafayette, LA 70508. David Funeral Home of Lafayette, is in charge of the arrangements.
