New Iberia " Funeral Services will be conducted for Joseph A. Mann, Jr. age 88 at 2:00PM Saturday January 27, 2007 at David Funeral Home Chapel with Deacon Patrick Burke officiating. Interment will be in Memorial Park Mausoleum. Visitation will be Saturday January 27, 2007 from 9:30AM till time of service. He died Wednesday January 24, 2007 at 5:00PM at Southwest Louisiana War Veterans Home in Jennings, La. Military graveside rites will be conducted by the VFW Post 1982 Honor Guard. In Lieu of flowers donations are to be made to Louisiana Hospice of Jennings, 522 North Main Street, Jennings, La. 70546. A native of New Orleans Mr. Mann has been a resident of New Iberia for many years having worked for Radio Service Center as an electronics technician for 32 years. He also served in the U.S. Air Force in the South Pacific during WWII. Survivors include his wife Shirley St. Upery Mann of New Iberia, one daughter; Marsha M. Domingue and husband Randall of Baton Rouge and one son; Joseph A. Mann III and wife Nelda of New Iberia. Survivors also include 6 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents Joseph A. Mann, Sr. and Viola Sutmph Mann and 2 sisters. Pallbearers will be family and friends. David Funeral Home of New Iberia is in charge of arrangements.
