Ena Marie Dugas

Erath - Ena Marie Dugas, 90, of Eufaula, Oklahoma, passed away Tuesday, February 14, 2006, at the Community Hospital in Lakeview. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at 10:30 AM Saturday, February 18, 2006, at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, in Erath, Louisiana. Entombment will follow in the Church Mausoleum. Memorial Services will be held at 9:00 AM Friday, February 17, 2006, at Trinity Episcopal Church, in Eufaula, OK. with Rev. Bill Ellington officiating, under the direction of Hunn, Black & Merritt Funeral Home, in Eufaula, Oklahoma. Born on February 16, 1915, in Erath, Ena Marie is the daughter of Rene and Paula LeBlanc Bernard. She attended Erath Public Schools, and on December 16, 1939, she married Wilton J. Dugas, in Erath. Together they raised two children. Survivors include her son, Ronald Jude Dugas and wife Mary of Springfield, LA.; her daughter, Rowena Buck and husband Richard of Eufaula; four grandchildren, Dr. Mark Dugas and wife Elsa of Houston, Ashleah Edwards and husband Christopher of Joplin, Missouri, Christopher R. Buck of Grove, Oklahoma, and Jonathan P. Buck of Tahlequah, Oklahoma; three great grandchildren, Michael, Sydney, and Evan Michael. Ena Marie was preceded in death by her parents, and by her husband Wilton, in September of 1993. Memorial contributions may be made to the Louisiana Hurricane Relief Fund. David Funeral Home of Erath is in charge of local arrangements.
