NEW IBERIA " Funeral services will be conducted for Agnes David Viator, 90, on Wednesday, Feb. 22, 2006 at 1:00 PM at Nativity of Our Lady Catholic Church with Rev. Mike Arnaud and Rev. Mr. George Sikes officiating. Interment will follow at Nativity of Our Lady Mausoleum. Mrs. Viator died on Sunday, Feb. 19, 2006 at 1:00 PM at her residence. Visitation will begin on Tuesday, Feb. 21, 2006 at 4:00 PM till 10:00 PM and resume on Wednesday, Feb. 22, 2006 at 8:00 AM until services. A rosary service will be recited in the funeral home on Tuesday at 7:00 PM. A native of Youngsville, LA, Mrs. Viator was a resident of New Iberia. Mrs. Viator and her husband owned and operated Viators Texaco Service Station on West Main Street for 20 years. She was a past member of the Lions Club Auxillary, loved people and enjoyed sharing her cooking. She is survived by her daughters, Lydia V. Nowell and her husband Mitch of Belle Chase, LA; Joyce V. Thompson of New Iberia, LA; Linda V. Clause of Avery Island, LA; and Susan V. Thibodeaux and her husband Johnnie of Lake Charles, LA; her son, Troy Viator of Loreauville, LA and her brother, Dennis J. David and his wife Cora of New Iberia, LA.; 16 grandchildren, Rocky, Dwayne and Brent Laliberte, Shelia Laliberte Derouen, Rachel Laliberte Sercovich, Tod, Rusty and Mark Thompson, Cindy Thompson McDonald, Ricky and Ron Dickerson, Brad Clause, James and Kathryn Thibodeaux, Angie Thibodeaux Papania and Brant Viator. She is also survived by 28 Great Grandchildren and 2 Great Great Grandchildren. She was preceeded in death by her husband, Addis Viator; her father, Alcee David; her mother, Hilda Fabre David; her brothers, Wilton and Raoul David; her sisters, Eloise D. Viator, Elise D. Viator, Deloria D. Derouen, Mabel D. Boutte; her grandson, Johnnie P. Thibodeaux, Jr. and her son-in-law, Wayne Thompson. Pallbearers will be Rocky, Dwayne and Brent Laliberte, Rusty, Tod and Mark Thompson, Ricky and Ron Dickerson, Brant Viator, James Thibodeaux and Brad Clause. Honorary pallbearers will be her nieces and nephews. David Funeral Home of New Iberia is in charge of arrangements.
