New Iberia- Funeral services for Mr. Coty Keith Ackal, 24, will be held at 3:00PM on Saturday, February 18, 2006 at David Funeral Chapel of New Iberia, with Rev. Paul Neel officiating. Visitation will be held Saturday from 9:00AM until service time at David Funeral Home of New Iberia. A native and resident of New Iberia Coty died Tuesday, February 14, 2006 at New Iberia, LA. He was a loving son, husband, and father who enjoyed playing his X-box 360, drawing, and writing poems. He was employed at Chart Coastal Fabricators and a member of First Assembly. The highlight of his life was his daughter Kaleigh. He is survived by his wife, Christine Rozas Ackal of New Iberia; his father, John K. Ackal and his wife, Kelley Ackal of Youngsville; his mother, Belinda Viator Scanlan and her husband, Kevin Scanlan of Brownsville, TX; a daughter, Kaleigh Ackal of New Iberia; two brothers, Karsen Ackal of Youngsville, and Sage Viator of Brownsville, TX; one sister, Krista Ackal of Youngsville; his mother and father-in-law, Tela and Shelby Day of New Iberia; paternal grandmother, Dalel H. Ackal of New Iberia; maternal grandmother, Shirley Viator of Broussard; paternal aunt, Edna A. Brower of New Iberia; special Godmother, Rosemary Peters of New Iberia; Godfather, Rodney Viator of New Iberia and a host of aunts, uncles, and cousins. He is preceded in death by his son, Caleb Ackal; a paternal grandfather, Elias Bo Ackal, Jr.; and a maternal grandfather, Alwin Viator Pallbearers will be, Elias Ackal, III, Kalil Ackal, Timothy Peters, Robert Reech, Shelby Day, Rodney Viator, Kerry Viator, and Edward Collette. Honorary Pallbearers will be Mike Beyoance, and Kevin Francisco David Funeral Home of New Iberia will be handling arrangements
