Abbeville - Avery LeBlanc, 92, of Erath, passed away at 1:47 PM Monday, February 20, 2006, in Abbeville.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 AM Wednesday, February 22, 2006, at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, in Erath, with Rev. Gregory Simien as the Celebrant. Entombment will follow in the church mausoleum.

Readers for the Mass will be Stephanie Landry and Tina Sellers. Gift bearers include Brandi Landry, Lacie Landry, Bailey Landry, Kristi Durke, Jamie Faulk, Katie Sellers, and Laurie Sagrera.

Survivors include a daughter, Myrlene L. Sellers of Abbeville; grandchildren, Charlotte Dubose of Indian Bayou, Darryl Landry and wife Carolyn of Maurice, Brent Landry and wife Stephanie of Erath, Chris Landry, Barbara Sellers, Sandra Faulk and husband Keith, Patricia Sellers and Ricky Trahan, Carl Sellers, Keith Sellers and wife Tina, and Angela Sagrera and husband Brandon, all of Abbeville; great grandchildren, Blake and Bailey Landry of Maurice, Brandi and Lacie Landry of Erath, Kristi Durke and husband Daniel of Abbeville, Jamie Faulk and Gabe Richard of Abbeville, Katie and Eric Sellers of Abbeville, and Bryce Sagrera of Abbeville; great great grandchildren, Tyler and Britlynn Durke, and Kylie Richard all of Abbeville; son-in-law, Aston Ray Naunchie Landry and wife Shirley of Abbeville.

He was preceded in death by his wife of 69 years, Clemance Dore LeBlanc; a daughter, Myrtis Landry; grandson, Michael Landry; son-in-law, Judge Roger Sellers; grandson-in-law, Paul Dubose; parents, Demas and Alida Viator LeBlanc; brothers, Alcide LeBlanc, Alvy LeBlanc, and Ray LeBlanc.

Honored to serve as pallbearers are Darryl Landry, Blake Landry, Brent Landry, Christopher Landry, Keith Sellers, Carl Sellers, and Eric Sellers.

Honorary pallbearers include Brett Trahan, Tyler Durke, Bryce Sagrera, Aston Ray Landry, Keith Faulk, Ricky Trahan, Brandon Sagrera, Daniel Durke, and Gabe Richard.

A gathering of family and friends will be Tuesday, from 2:00 PM until 9:00 PM at David Funeral Home, in Abbeville. A rosary will be prayed at 7:00 PM Tuesday. Visitation will continue Wednesday, from 8:00 AM until time of service.
