Erath - Eve Trahan Romero, 99, of Erath, passed away at 7:15 AM Tuesday, February 21, 2006, in Abbeville. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 AM Thursday, February 23, 2006, at St. Anne Catholic Church, in Youngsville, with Rev. Louis Vu as the Celebrant. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Survivors include her son, Norman Romero and wife Dorothy of Erath; grandchildren, Jason Romero of Erath, Randall Romero of Erath, Harry Romero, Jr., Ronnie Romero of Maurice, Debbie Romero of Maurice, Allen Dale Romero of Midlothian, TX, Ricky Romero of Broussard, Timmy Romero of Lafayette, Jimmy Romero of Lafayette, and Mike Romero; brothers, Peterman Bourque of Abbeville, Ivy Bourque of Youngsville, Alton Bourque of Abbeville; sisters, Laurice Guidry of Abbeville, Gladys Bienvenu of Erath, Agnes Foreman of Abbeville, Marie Bourque of Bridge City, TX; several great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Clemile Romero; parents, Dominic and Cleomire Romero Trahan; sons, Harry Joseph Romero, Sr. and Shirley John Romero; sister, Ella Viator; brother, Harris Bourque. A gathering of family and friends will be Wednesday, from 2:00 PM until 9:00 PM at David Funeral Home, in Erath. A rosary will be prayed at 7:00 PM Wednesday. Visitation will continue Thursday from 8:00 AM until time of service. David Funeral Home of Erath, is in charge of the arrangements.
