ABBEVILLE " Funeral services will be conducted for Mrs. Alpheus P. Cap Bourque, age 94, the former Mattie Ardeneaux on Saturday, Feb. 25, 2006 at 3:00 PM in the David Funeral Home Chapel with Deacon Chris Mouton officiating. Interment will follow in St. Mary Magdeline Cemetery. Visitation will begin on Saturday at 7:00 AM until 3:00 PM and a rosary will be recited at 1:30 PM. She was a lifetime member of St. Theresas Altar Society and the American Legion Ladies Auxillary in Abbeville. She is survived by her son, Garland Dale Bourque and his wife Sarah of Abbeville, LA; two grandsons, Shanan Matthew Bourque of Baton Rouge, LA and Jason Lane Bourque of Lafayette, LA; her granddaughter, Mrs. Kevin (Heather Angelle) Bourque Boudreaux of Houston, TX; her great granddaughters, Elizabeth Ann Bourque of Baton Rouge, LA and Lauren Boudreaux of Houston, TX; two great grandsons, Zachary Paul Boudreaux and Jean-Paul Boudreaux both of Houston, TX and her sister, Connie Ardeneaux of Belle Chase, LA. She was preceeded in death by her husband, Alpheus Pierre Cap Bourque; her father, Wallace Bell Ardeneaux; her mother, Annie Doirion Ardeneaux and four sisters, Mrs. L. C. (Lillian) Baudoin, Mrs. Copeland (Nolia) Goss, Mrs. Herbert (Edith) Bergeaux and Mrs. Walter (Velma) Spence.
