Erath - Wanda Mae LeBlanc, 82, of Delcambre, passed away at 11:25 PM Tuesday, February 28, 2006, in Erath. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 3:00 PM Friday, March 3, 2006, at Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church, in Delcambre. Entombment will follow in the church mausoleum. Born on January 1, 1924, Mrs. LeBlanc is the daughter of Duke and Lucy Domingue Landry. She was a member of Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church, in Delcambre, and enjoyed visiting with her family and friends. Survivors include her daughter, Debra LeBlanc of Delcambre; son, Todd LeBlanc and wife Jocelyn of Erath; sister, Lily Dronet of Erath; grandchildren, Lori Toups of Shreveport, Nicole Weekly of Erath; great grandchild, Colin Weekly of Erath. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, J. Roy LeBlanc; brothers, Herbert Landry, Bradley Landry, Charles Newby Landry; sisters, Gloria Broussard, Nola Aucoin. A gathering of family and friends will be Thursday, from 12 Noon until 9:00 PM at David Funeral Home, in Erath. A rosary will be prayed at 7:00 PM Thursday. Visitation will continue Friday from 8:00 AM until time of service. David Funeral Home of Erath is in charge of the arrangements.
