Loreauville-A Mass of Christian burial for L. P. "Sue" Cabrol, 89, will be held on Thursday, March 2, 2006 at 10:00 A.M. at St. Joseph Catholic Church of Loreauville with Fr. Paul Onuegbe officating. Interment will follow at St. Joseph's Mausoleum. Visitation will be held at David Funeral Home of Loreauville on Wednesday, March 1, 2006 from 5:00PM until 10:00PM, with a rosary by the Knights of Columbus at 7:00PM. Visitation will resume on Thursday, March 2, 2006 from 8:00AM until services. A native of Youngsville and a resident Loreauville, Mr. Cabrol died Tuesday, February 28, 2006 at his residence. Mr. Cabrol was a loving father and grandfather who loved gardening. He was a World War II veteran who served in the 15th Armored Division of the United States Air Corps. He was a 4th degree member of the Knights of Columbus, and a former Grand Knight of Emile Platier' Council. He is survived by, a daughter, Rita Domingue and her husband Duffy Domingue of Loreauville; two grandsons, Todd Domingue and his wife Vanessa Domingue of Coteau, and Ross Domingue of Loreauville; a great grandson, Colton Domingue of Coteau; three great granddaughters, Alexis and Madilyn Domingue of Coteau, and Emily Young Domingue of Kinder; and his caregiver Mary Louise Olivier of Loreauville. He is preceded in death by his wife, Myrtle Boutte Cabrol; his parents Piere Cabrol and Elite Reaux Cabrol; and a brother Minor Cabrol The family would like to thank Hospice of Acadiana for their compassionate care.
