Erath " Memorial Services will be conducted Saturday, January 10, 2009 at 2:00PM at his residence for Mr. Nelson Bess, Jr., 64, passed away on Tuesday, January 6, 2009 at 5:00PM at his residence. Mr. Bess, was a native of Dunklin, Missouri, and a resident of Erath. Mr. Bess was employed by Baker Energy as an Electrician/Foreman for the last 5 years. Mr. Bess served his country in the Marines from 1961 to 1964. Nelson was a loving husband and father who enjoyed spending time with his family. He is survived by his wife, Mary Rozalski Bess of Erath; one son, Zachary J.T. Bess of Erath; a daughter, Alexandria W. K. Bess of Erath; and his puppy Rosie. He was preceded in death by his parents, Nelson Bess, Sr. and Virginia M. Dye Bess. David Funeral Home of Erath, 209 East Putnam St.; (337) 937-0405 is in charge of the arrangements.
