New Iberia " Funeral services will be conducted on Monday, April 17, 2006 at 11:00 AM at Nativity of Our Lady Catholic Church with Deacon John Sarkies & Msgr. Harry Benefield officiating for Mrs. Carroll Gary, 54, the former Madeline Roy who died on Thursday, April 13, 2006 at 10:30 PM in Dauterive Hospital in New Iberia. Interment will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will begin on Monday, April 17, 2006 at 8:00 AM till services and a rosary will be prayed at 10:00 AM Monday in the funeral home. A native of Mamou, La, Mrs. Gary was a resident of New Iberia. She loved Arts and Crafts, sewing, fishing and volunteered for Christmas in April. She is survived by her husband, Carroll Gary of New Iberia, LA; her daughter, Michelle Dohmann Haydel and her husband Chad of Houma, LA; her brother, Lawrence Roy, Jr. of Madisonville, KY; her granddaughter, Madeline Elise Haydel and her grandsons, Richard Michael Haydel, III, William Ted Haydel and Hudson Joseph Haydel all of Houma, LA. She was preceeded in death by her father, Lawrence Roy, Sr.; her mother, Ola Ogea Roy; and her 1st husband, Joseph Ted Dohmann. Pallbearers will be Lawrence Roy, Jr., J. B. Brasseaux, Chad Haydel, Barry Boullion, Robert Tucker and Justin Gary. Preferred memorials may be sent to, St. Jude Childrens Research Hospital 332 N.
