Loving friend to all New Iberia....Memorial services for Mrs. James H. Zerangue, the former Aimee Bayard, 77, will be conducted at 2:00 PM Sunday, April 23, 2006 at David Funeral Home Chapel with the Pastor Ross Trahan officiating. A gathering of family and friends will be observed Sunday, April 23, 2006 from 1:00 PM until the time of service at David Funeral Home Chapel. A native of Iberia Parish and a resident of New Iberia, Mrs. Zerangue died at 3:59 p.m. Thursday, April 20, 2006, at her daughters residence. Mrs. Zerangue was employed with Iberia Medical Center for 20 years as a Medical Records Supervisor. She was a member of Iberia Garden Club, Peacemakers Quilting Club and the Homemakers Club. She was active in ARC of Iberia. She belonged to the Gloria Monday Travel Club. She did volunteer work and community service work in Iberia Parish. She also worked at the Iberia Parish Public Library and was a guide at the Shadows on the Teche and Rip Van Winkle. She was a choir member of St. Nicholas and St. Peters Church. She is survived by her son, Glenn Paul Migues and wife Mona of Orlando, Fla.; two daughters, Deborah Migues Patout and husband Rene Louis Patout Jr. of Ocean Springs, Miss., and Kim Migues Herman and husband James of New Iberia; a brother, Lawrence Whitey Bayard of New Iberia; a sister, Hazel B. Vicknair of Avondale; five grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. Mrs. Zerangue was preceded in death by her husband, James H. Zerangue; parents, Laurent Benoit Bayard and Helena Songe Bayard; two sisters, Aline B. Rutten and Alice B. Comeaux; and three brothers, Wilson, Albert Frenchie and Hansel Bayard. David Funeral Home of New Iberia is in charge of the arrangements.
