New Iberia - Services for Mounlasith Bounyasaeng, 68, will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday at David Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. Visiting hours will be observed Thursday from 2 p.m. until 10 p.m., and will resume Friday from 8 a.m. until 10 p.m. at David Funeral Home. Visitation will resume Saturday at 8 a.m. until time of service. A resident of Broussard, Mr. Bounyasaeng died at 11:20 a.m. Saturday, May 6, 2006, at Southwest Medical Center. Mr. Bounyasaeng was a soldier in the Vietnam War. He is survived by his four sons, Sittiphone Bounyasaeng and wife Samly of Broussard, Phanomsone Bounyasaeng of Youngsville, Viengsamone Bounyasaeng and wife Danielle of New Iberia, and Pakad Bounyasaeng of Youngsville; a daughter, Khamphone Khamvongsa and husband Samanouk of Youngsville; and nine grandchildren. Mr. Bounyasaeng was preceded in death by his parents, Bounkone and Thim Najampasack Bounyasaeng; a daughter, Manisakone Bounyasaeng; and a son, Phanakone Bounyasaeng.
