New Iberia"Funeral services for Jo Ann Johnson Primm, 77, of New Iberia will be held on Wednesday, May 10, 2006 at 11:00 A.M. in David Funeral Home Chapel. The Reverend Paul Neel will officiate. Interment will follow in Broussard Cemetery Annex, Bayou Petit Anse Community. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 10, 2006 from 8:30 A.M. until service time in the funeral home. Mrs. Primm passed away after a lengthy illness on Monday, May 8, 2006 at 5:30 A.M. in a local hospital. A native of El Dorado, AR, Mrs. Primm was a retired nurse. She was an avid reader and history buff, and she also enjoyed doing puzzles, following sports, music, gardening, and spending time with her family and friends. Mrs. Primm was a compassionate animal lover who cared for her beloved canine companion, Joshua. Mrs. Primm was a member of New Iberia Kingdom Hall of Jehovahs Witness, South and Central Congregations. Survivors include sons, Jack Shirley of Brooklyn, NY and Dennis Bowen and wife, Yvonne of New Iberia; daughters, Bonnie Clark of Sunnyvale, CA and Diane Bowen of Baton Rouge; eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Serving as pallbearers are Alan Moore, Michael Borel, Steven Bowen, and Aaron Broussard. David Funeral Home of New Iberia is in charge of arrangements.
