Lafayette - Funeral Services for Mr. Charles Wesley "Wes" Jones,54, will be held on Monday June 4, 2006 at 10:00AM at Church of the Covenant United Methodist Church of Lafayette, with Rev. John Cannon officiating. Visitation will be held at David Funeral Home of Lafayette on Sunday, June 4, 2006 from 4:00PM until 9:00PM and will resume on Monday, June 5, 2006 from 8:00AM until time of service at David Funeral Home of Lafayette. Mr.Jones a native of Barnhart, TX and a resident of Youngsville died Friday June 2,2006 at 12:12AM at his residence. Mr. Jones was a self-employed Oilfield Consultant for over 20 years. He enjoyed fishing,hunting,and golfing. Mr.Jones was a member of the Youngsville Lions Club and a member of the Krewe Des Amis. He is survived by his wife, Donna Hernandez Jones of Youngsville; mother, Lola Roe Jones of Barnhart,TX; two sons, Blake Jones, and Jeffery Jones of Las Vegas, NV; daughter Ashly Nicole Broussard of Youngsville; sister,Freida Johnson and husband Tim of Mertzon,TX, sister Becky Benson and husband Steve of Barnhart,TX; Grandmother, Martha Leona "Mammie" Roe of Barnhart, TX; Father and Mother-In-Law,Lynn and Janelle Hernandez of Slaughter; several brother-in-laws, sister-in-laws,nieces, nephews, and many friends. Mr. Jones was preceded in death by his father,John Wesley Jones. Pallbearers will be, Jeff and Blake Jones, Tre and Leonard Chauvin, Ben and Brant Hernandez, Judge Todd Hernandez, and Tim Johnson. Honorary pallbearers will be, Steve Benson, John Nix, Todd Dudley, Dennis Castille, David Brown, Randy Smith, Robert Lang, and Don Schmit.
