Loan Van Pham

Funeral services will be held at St. Mary Magdalene Catholic Church in Abbeville Saturday, June 10, 2006 at 9 AM for Loan Van Pham, 75. Loan was born in Haiphong, Vietnam on January 1, 1931 and went to be with the Lord on Saturday, June 3, 2006 at his residence in Abbeville. He was a member of the Vietnamese Catholic Community of Abbeville and was a member of the Advisory Council of the Vietnamese Community. The Rev. Thomas Nguyen will conduct the funeral mass, with burial to follow at St. Paul Cemetery in Abbeville. He is survived by his wife Ran Thi Nguyen Pham of Abbeville; daughters, Diana Pham and her husband Johnny Nguyen of Abbeville, Tuyet Pham of Abbeville, Nhung Thi Pham of Dallas, and Nhieu Thi Pham of Dallas; his sons, Luke Pham of Dallas, Le Pham of Dallas, Nam Pham of Dallas; a sister, Gai Thi Pham of Atlanta, Georgia, and a brother, Thinh Van Pham of Abbeville. He is preceded in death by his father, Do Van Pham, his mother, Noi Thi Nguyen Pham, a son, Lay Pham, a daughter, Huong Thi Pham, and a brother, Sam Van Pham. The family requests that visitation be observed Monday, June 5, 2006 through Friday, June 9, 2006 from 5:30 PM till 9 PM each day and Saturday morning, June 10, 2006 from 8 AM till time of service. A rosary will be prayed each evening at 5:30 PM with mass to follow at 6 PM nightly.
