Funeral services will be held Tuesday, June 13, 2006 at 11a.m. in David Funeral Home Chapel in Lafayette, for Mrs. Mary Ruth Dunn Burgamy, 81. She was born in Rosenburg, Texas on October 11, 1924, and went to be with the Lord on Saturday, June 10, 2006 at Our Lady of Lourdes Regional Medical Center. Mary was a devoted member of the First Baptist Church of Broussard, she was a member of the Eastern Star, and she had a special love for her birds, cats and dogs. Above all else, Mary was characterized as a loving and devoted wife, a loyal sister and mother, and a wonderful grandmother. The Rev. L.C. Lord will conduct the funeral service with burial to follow at Lafayette Memoral Park Cemetery in Lafayette. She is survived by her husband, Willie Loving ONeal Burgamy of Youngsville; three daughters, Linda Granier and husband Malcolm of Baker,La., Deborah Roberts and husband, Johnny of Youngsville.and Darlene Adams and husband Stan of Broussard, La; one brother, Bobby Dunn and wife Jerrie, of Many, La.; one sister Dot Carrier of Broussard; She is also survived by 8 Grandchildren and 12 Great Grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Lee and Pearl Brumalow Dunn. The family requests that visitation be observed Monday June 12,2006 from 4pm-9p.m. and continued Tuesday June 13,2006 from 8a.m. until service time at David Funeral Home. Serving as pallbearers will be Jules Broussard, Benny Adams, Neal Pierret, Derek White, Troy Schexnayder, Bryan Broussard, Kirk Bourque
