Jeanerette- Funeral Services will be conducted for Mrs. Gerald C. Meyers the former Edith Tut Armentor age 82, at 2:00PM on Thursday June 8, 2006 at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church with interment to follow in Beau Pre Cemetery. Father Charles Langlois will officiate. She died at 11:50AM on Tuesday June 6, at a New Iberia Hospital. Visitation will be Wednesday from 5:00PM till 9:00PM and again Thursday from 8:00AM till service time. A rosary will be recited at 7:00PM Wednesday. She was a member of the American Legion Post 26 Ladies Auxillary and a long time CCD teacher and a member of the Catholic Daughters of America. She is survived by her husband Gerald C. Myers of Jeanerette. One son Bradley Myers and wife Cathy of Lydia and One daughter Cynthia M. Sedatol of Jeanerette. Two grandsons Bert Grace of Jeanerette and Greg Myers and wife Candice of Lydia. One granddaughter Abbie Hebert and husband Craig of Lydia and a great-granddaughter Ava Myers of Lydia. She is also survived by four brothers and one sister, Sim Armentor and wife Elsie, Donald Armentor and wife June and Lloyd Armentor and his wife Annie all of Coteau and Simon Armentor and wife Joyce of New Iberia and Lena Fitch and husband Walter of Jeanerette. She was preceded in death by her son Reed James Myers, brothers and sisters Allen, Fulton, Perfice, Rene Armentor, Vernette Segura, Solange LeBlanc, Lilly Hammond and Nola Bodin. She was also preceded in death by her parents Laurent and Eunice Fremin Armentor. Pallbearers will be family and friends. David funeral home of Jeanerette is in charge of arrangements.
