Lucien Broussard

August 8, 1932 — July 18, 2006

Jeanerette- Funeral Services will be conducted for Mr. Lucien Pap Broussard, at 10:00AM on Saturday July 22, 2006 at St. John The Evangelist Catholic Church in Jeanerette with Father Ed Degeyter officiating. Interment will be in St. Johns Mausoleum. Visitation will begin Friday July 21, 2006 from 4:00PM till 10:00PM with a Rosary at 6:30PM. Visitation will resume at 8:00AM on Saturday till time of Service. He died Tuesday July 18, 2006 at 5:46PM at his residence. He was a loving Father and Grandfather, a member of the Knights of Columbus and the Legion of Mary. Survivors include his wife Rita Bonin Broussard, one son and one daughter Kevin Bruce Broussard and wife Lisa and Sheila B. Legnon and husband Tommy both of Jeanerette. Grandchildren, Matthew Migues of New Iberia and Kara Broussard and Kayla Broussard both of Jeanerette. He was preceded in death by his parents Piere M. and Hilda Migues Broussard , a daughter Rebecca Becky Broussard, four sisters, Lilly B. Landry, Lillian B. Butler, Marie B. Breaux and Sadie B. Woodson. Pallbearers will be members of the Knights of Columbus. Honorary Pallbearers will be Matthew Migues, Gilliam Gary, Pat Napier, Tommy Legnon and Sheila Legnon. David Funeral Home of Jeanerette is in charge of arrangements.
