Jeanerette- Funeral services will be conducted for Mrs. Nolan M. Borel, Sr. the former Dorothy Guillotte, 82, at 1:00PM Thursday June 22, 2006 at Calvary Pentecostal Church in Jeanerette with Rev. A.L. Lyle officiating. Visitation will begin Wednesday June 21, 2006 at David Funeral Home, 1101 Trotter St " New Iberia, La. from 6:00PM till 9:00PM with a prayer service at 7:00PM. Visitation will resume at Calvary Pentecostal Church in Jeanerette Thursday June 22, 2006 at 8:00AM till service time. Interment will follow in Beau Pre Mausoleum in Jeanerette. She was a charter member of Calvary Pentecostal Church of Jeanerette. She loved flowers, crocheting and was an avid Avon bottle collector. She also enjoyed gatherings with her family. She died Monday June 19, 2006 at 3:45P.M. at Teche Regional Medical Center. Survivors include her husband Nolan M. Borel, Sr. of Jeanerette. Two sons, Rev. Nolan M. Borel, Jr. and wife Julene of Patterson, La. and Gary W. Borel and wife Trudy of New Iberia, La. One brother, Arthur Guillotte of Houma, La. Two sisters, Mable Alexander of Jennings, La. and Rose Pinell of Nederland, Texas. Ten grandchildren, twenty -one great grandchildren, two step-grandchildren, and three step-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents Adonis and Edna Boudreaux Guillotte and two brothers Rivers and Relius Guillotte. Pallbearers will be Todd,Troy,Brady,Gary W. Jr.,Jason, Gary Joe and Shannon Borel. Chris Borel is an honorary pallbearer. David Funeral Home of New Iberia is in charge of arrangements.
