Erath " A Mass of Christian Burial for Clement Junior Bourgeios, Jr., 93, will be held Friday, July 21, 2006 at 11:00AM at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church with Fr. Wayne Duet officiating. Visitation will be held at David Funeral Home of Erath on Thursday, July 20, 2006 from 4:00PM until 8:00PM with a recitation of the rosary at 7:00PM. Visitation will resume on Friday, July 21, 2006 from 8:00AM until the time services. Interment will follow at Our Lady of Lourdes Cemetery. Mr. Bourgeois a native of Lafourche Parish and a resident of Erath died Thursday, July 20, 2006 at 1:37AM at his residence. After serving in the army in WWII Mr. Junior was the postmaster in Erath for over 37 years, following his father and mother who were postmaster and postmistress. He was the town historian, a ham radio operator, a self made man, and very intellectual. He was very proud of his family and their accomplishments. He is survived by he loving wife, Louise John Bourgeois of Erath; a son, Dr. Carl James Doumit and his wife Karen Doumit of Columbus, MS; a grandson, Kevin John Doumit and his wife Terri Doumit of Columbus, MS; and three great grandchildren, Lauren Nicole Doumit, Kevin Andrew Doumit, and Patrick James Doumit all of Columbus, MS He is preceded in death by his parents, Clement Bourgeois, Sr. and Marie Antoinette Rodi Bourgeois; and a brother, Robert Bourgeois. Pallbearers will be Kevin J. Doumit, Freddie Doumit, Jr., Sonny Dronet, Jr., Philip Nunez, Kenny Pellerin, and Oswald Broussard. Honorary Pallbearers will be Bishop Thomas Rodi, General Bob LeBlanc, and General Curney Dronet, Sr,. David Funeral Home of Erath will be handling the arrangements
