. New Iberia- Funeral services for Mr. Preston L. Nook Boudreaux Sr.,88, of New Iberia will be held Friday July 21, 2006 at 10:00 AM. at St. Marcellus Catholic Church. Father Richard Fabre will officiate. Interment will follow in Holy Family Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 20, 2006 from 4:00 P.M. until 9:00 P.M., and Friday, July 21, 2006 from 8:00 A.M.until service time in David Funeral Home. A rosary will be recited on Thursday at 7:P.M. in the funeral home. Mr. Boudreaux Sr. passed away at 3:00 A.M. on Wednesday morning July 19, 2006 in a local hospital. A native of New Iberia, Mr. Broudreaux was a footman for Cargill Salt for forty years. He loved gardening and was a member of The American Legion and VFW. He also was a veteran of W.W.II and an usher for St. Marcellus Catholic Church. Survivors include his wife, Mrs Katherine Barras Boudreaux of New Iberia, LA; daughters, Brenda and husband, Francis Jacques Tauzin of Alexandria, LA and Jackie and husband, Jack Broussard of New Iberia, LA; sons, Preston Boudreaux, Jr. and wife, Sandra of Loreauville, LA and Tommy Boudreaux and wife, Tammy of Lydia, LA; grandchildren , Jack Broussard, Jr., Dewey Broussard, Kerrie Mills, Brendan Tauzin, Amy Theriot, Ashley Boudreaux, Tonya Boudreaux, and Tracy Boudreaux; great-grandchildren , Sara Mills, Lauria Mills, Avery Mills, Kiley Tauzin, and Addison Theriot. brothers, Adam J.C. Boudreaux of Bellechase, LA and Johnny Boudreaux of New Iberia; and sisters, Louise Albert of New Iberia and Ella Lavergene of St. Martinville, LA. Mr. Boudreaux Sr. was preceded in death by his parents, Felix and Elia DeRouen Boudreaux. Serving as pallbearers are J.C. Boudreaux, Johnny Boudreaux, Tommy Boudreaux, Preston Boudreaux ,Jr., Brendan Tauzin, and Jack Broussard, Jr. Honorary pallbearer will be Dewey Broussard. David Funeral Home of New Iberia is in charge of arrangements.
