Jeanerette- Funeral Services will be conducted for Mrs. Harry J. Guillotte the former Evelyn Derouen, at 11:00AM on Friday July 21, 2006 at St. John The Evangelist Catholic Church in Jeanerette with Father Ed Degeyter officiating. Interment will be in St. Johns Mausoleum. Visitation will begin Thursday July 20, 2006 from 4:00PM till 9:00PM with a Rosary at 6:30PM. Visitation will resume at 8:00AM on Friday till time of Service. She died Wednesday July 19, 2006 at 8:30AM at her residence. She was member of the Book and Hobby Club. She loved to play bouree and was an avid quilter.In memory of Mrs. Guillotte memorial contributions can be made to Hospice of Acadiana, Inc. 2600 Johnston Street, Suite 200 Lafayette, LA 70503 Survivors include two daughters, Marie Joyce Ransonet and husband Earl of New Iberia and Alethia Bourque and husband Daniel of Broussard. Three sons, Richard Guillotte and wife Sandra of Loreauville, Paul Elliotte Guillotte and wife Barbara of Plano, Texas and Jerry Guillotte and wife Alice of Lafayette. Two sisters and one brother Selima Tootle, Theresa Robinson and Pete Hebert, Jr. all of Biloxi, Mississippi. Twelve grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Harry J. Guillotte. Her parents Julien and Rita Landry Derouen. Two sisters Leona Richie and Rita Mae Ross, two brothers Julius Derouen and Relius Derouen and one grandson Stephen Guillotte. Honored to serve as pallbearers are her grandsons Mark, Phillip and Bruce Ransonet, Michael and Jeff Guillotte and Travis Savoy. Honorary pallbearers are Pete Hebert, Earl Ransonet, Danny Bourque, Greg Guillotte, Norman Brignac and Brian Migues. David Funeral Home of Jeanerette is in charge of arrangements.
