Groves, TX " Funeral services will be conducted for Marvin Mitchell Butaud, 91 on Saturday, July 22, 2006 at 11:00 AM in the Clayton-Thompson Funeral Home Chapel in Groves, TX. Interment will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery in Groves, TX with Military Graveside Rites. A native of Henry, LA and a resident of Delcambre, LA, Mr. Butaud died on Wednesday, July 19, 2006 at 8:40 AM at his residence in Delcambre, LA Visitation will be held at the Clayton-Thompson Funeral Home in Groves, TX on Friday, July 21, 2006 beginning at 2:00 PM until 9:00 PM and resume on Saturday, July 22, 2006 at 8:00 AM till services. A rosary will be prayed at the funeral home on Friday evening at 7:00 PM. Mr. Butaud was a member of the SeaBees in the US Navy and served during World War II. He is survived by his wife, Mildred Greer Butaud of Delcambre, LA; his daughters, Lynda Ann Butaud of Delcambre, LA, Frances Falgout and her husband Richard Falgout of New Iberia, LA, Marie Weeks and her husband Sherman Weeks of Orange, TX, and Carolyn Boneski and her husband Joseph Boneski, Sr. of Henry, LA; his son, James Pemberton and his wife Melba Pemberton of Bryan, TX; his brother, Vertis Butaud of Port Arthur, TX; his sisters, Mildred Connor of Beaumont, TX, Lola Lange of Port Arthur, TX, Beverly Collatt of Abbeville, LA and Marlene Bordages of Hampshire, TX. He is also survived by 18 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his father, Richard Butaud; his mother, Mamie Moss Butaud and his two brothers, Elliott and Roy Butaud. Pallbearers will be Joey Boneski, II, Daniel Boneski, Sean Boneski, Ricky Weeks, Richard Falgout, II and Thomas Falgout. Honorary pallbearers will be Rev. Benjamin Weeks, Mitch Falgout, Troy Pemberton, Sr., David Pemberton, Derick Boneski, Beau Sonnier, D. J. Moore, Joseph Hodges, Joel Velasquez, Taylor Rolen, Jacob Richard Pemberton, Sean Boneski, Jr, Tommy Boneski and Michael Boneski. David Funeral Home of New Iberia is in charge of local arrangements and Clayton-Thompson Funeral Home is in charge of the services in Groves, TX.
